Howie Jasmine

Specs:

This guitar is made by Howie Guitars located in Colorado. This is one of the most versatile instruments to come our way. It features a built in piezo pickup with sensors placed on strategic locations under guitar top, facilitating blending of the humbucker and P90 pickups. It also allows player to use percussive hand technique by striking top on various locations producing an almost drum/ percussive like sound (very unique feature). The piezo features both a separate volume control and tone control although the tone does not seem to alter the sound much which is alright because it would be left fully open anyway so it doesn’t pose any drawbacks to playability or sound. There is also an onboard switch that allows for piezo to operate with or without preamp. With preamp engaged, the piezo performs at full/a louder volume than when not engaged. When not employing the preamp, the piezo, in combination with hum bucket and P-90, produces a rich, subtle sound.

The extended tailpiece offers the player the ability to produce a tremolo effect when applying pressure to string between bridge and tailpiece.
Some small blemishes most notably on top of headstock ( see photo) and a tiny spot on lower horn where the undercoat is coming through. Other than that, cosmetically, it is in excellent shape.

The included hard shell case is designed to fir the body perfectly.
